Artist's Comments
This is a poster for the upcoming Calgary COmic Expo which will take place sometime in Late April, early May 2008. Most likely I will be there God willing, and it is by far one of my favourite shows to attend!
This close is meant to show you how messy I am at this point lol, you can see all of my mistakes. Noramlly if i want it to be razor shapr clean i willink it, but this pic was done in pencil. I erase back certain parts of it, and add in highlights to compensate. i would have dont some things different on this one, but the next one i will incorporate those ideas. One thing about pencil lines opposed to really high contrast ink lines is that there is a sort of softness that happens with the pencil. Sometimes the ink can come off a bit sterile, and it doesnt work that well with this approach colouring sometimes. That doesn't mean it can't be done, though.
