Here is a page of a very heavy duty scene from the Chun Li Legends Series i am almost finished working on.

Dan's father, Go Hibiki, seems not agree with the idea of paying thug tax to Sagat's goons. Sagat's collection agency ie. his punches and kicks are employed.

I posted this page because it was an honour drawing one of the only times where we see Dan revere his father. You can almost see what a serious martial artist Dan could have been with proper tutelage.

I really tried to capture that moment that a son has an almost an unconditional and an unwavering trust and faith in their father no matter what the odds.

As for Go's design, he is a mix of two versions. I pay tribute to the tengu mask version with the nose obviously. Only hardcore fans will catch it.

In the fourth panel we have Sagat telling his goons to stay the eff out of the fight. They obviously comply.

It is really cool to take Capcom history / lore and officially visualize and produce it.

5hrs to rough and draw/ink the page, 3hrs to colour, but it was fairly easy on the detail and difficulty though.
