I drew this one over the weekend at the Toronto con. I had drawn Ibuki before this year, but I was feeling like drawing her again.

Noramlly how it goes is that I draw one or two examples of what a commission sketch looks like so that people know what I am selling. This one I working on for the majority of the day since most people were waiting for sunday to come to the show, it was free admission or soemthing.

I imagine in this pic, Ibuki is training. If you have been to Japan in summer, you will know what the feeling is I am trying to go for. I would ventrue to say it is about 33°c with 80% + humidity, or in other words a steam bath. We have days in summer like that here in Toronto as well too, and not having A/C is a bad thing.

The drink she is cooling her head with is a very very popular carbonated drink in Japan: "Ramune" ( pronounced 'Ra-moon-eh' ) The gimmick is that there is a glass marble that acts as the lid when it is pushed up by the pressure of the drink. You push , with force , that marble into the bottle and it opens, but the glass marble is still inside.

The look on her face suggests whoever she is training with didn't need that much of a break. She is going to need those carbs!
