This is a commission i did for Minionsultd of his character Romanya in a custom suit I designed for her.
Please give Minionsultd a visit to see some more of his minions for hire!

Colour wise, this is actually the technique to a degree i will be using on the new Chun Li Legends book coming out. More cuts, if you could see the original file, you would see the tricks, but they are super subtle.
Red seemed the obvious choice, but i strayed a bit from that, and did colours that suit the complete opposite of her character. Usually in visual language, white means purity, but I am screwing with you since i am also using purple and black, common colours denoting evil.
Also the BG colours of gold and white make you feel like you are high in a celestial place especially with the fuzz effect, yet she has the the darker elements present. Could have done the Black nail polish, but I relented.
So is she bad or good, or misunderstood?
BW: 2H pencil, then F-301 Ball Pen. Hand drawn, no tablets! (Note: Some people still do draw on paper without the aid of computer) Paper: UDON comic board 28cm x 43cm (11" x 17") Colour: Photopaint 8 (1997)
Nice colour choices, I have never seen such a combination, and they work so well! And the difference of your colouring style is pretty clear to me, this one is a lot more sharp. Plus the shadows themselves are outlined It's a very beautiful style, I love it

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
