I have been dying to do this style for a long time. As much as i love drawing Chun li and SF stuff, I have always wanted to do this cutesy style.
I get kind of tired always drawing people angry and violent, can things be nice once in a while? 2 years on dA, and my first deviation was a Snow Girl as well. There is no snow here but it is inferred lol. Use your imagination. I could have gone for the more typical blues. whites and pinks, but i like these colours and it is a simple as that. In winter, orange and yellows stand out even more against snow. The complimentary of blue also pushes the vibrance of the warmer colours. She isn't any character in specific, just one of my own. It's windy in the pic since last night here in Mississauga it was really really windy so it seemed appropriate.
