Wonder Momo W1 by Omar-Dogan Wonder Momo W1 by Omar-Dogan
This is the newest UDON work that I am on right now, and over the next while I will be giving you sneaky sneak peaks into some of the behind scenes of its development.

In this image you see form left to right my progression of work and its various stages of completion.

1- Rough: I do these quick type sketches on comp so i can make fast revisions if necessary. After this point I take the red image and print it out.

2- Lines: I do all this on paper, it is not inked on computer. First I pencil it and then I ink it with Micron markers. The page size is about 8 x 11.

3- Colours: I do all the colours in CS4 and input the BGs there. This is the art process right up to the lettering.

Namco's Wonder Momo!

I pretty much fell in love with that Wonder Momo comic. It made me realize that I don't dislike comics...I've just clearly been reading the wrong ones.

Really enjoy your work and I can't wait to take in more of it.

Thanks! I am trying hard to make it decent, some of the more recent pages are better than my run on Ibuki Legends.

Each time I try to comment on that comic it sends me to register first in pages that are all in Japanese. So this is my opccasion to say that it,s great. I have fun with each episode even if I don't have TMNT in my cultural background or, come to think of it, anything else from that period.

What type of paper do you use, if I may ask?

i would have liked to see some faint silhouettes of people/the judges. because i know what the last panel is supposed to make me feel... but i think seeing a ton of ominous action behind the glaring light would freeze my heart.
this is really neat to see your progress. i love the facial expressions :)
