General Update:

I have not been around as of late on any of my normal channels other than BlogTV. The reason BlogTV gets the most attention is that it is effortless and does not take any more time than I have to offer it. However i will explain my absence for those of you's who do not frequent my BlogTV shows periodically.

My Girly Book:

For the most part, my life right now is consumed with the task of completing an upcoming artbook i have coming out which is all my own art. It's a girl book in which you will find girls. Many of my BlogTV people have seen a goodly amount of them and have watching me do each of the pieces live. I have only about 17 left, plus some other related work to the book and then it will be complete. At that point UDON will announce the title and release date of the book.

The whole goal of the book is to show my improvement form the first piece to the last piece. All in all there are 70 or more pieces of art in this book allof which have been drawn in a certain order and coloured in the same order. Essentially it's a type of time lapse of my work over the last year and a monumental amount of work as well that has taken me months to complete thus far. Within the book i will explain things that i learned and tried differently for each piece.

All the characters are my own creation, and other than BlogTV I have not shown anything that I have worked on. This is also the reason why I haven't uploaded anything in like two months since I have been busy not only with teaching at College, but also in trying to complete all of these work before the Calgary show.

Where and how to buy the book will be amply propagated near and before release when completion of the book is realized.

I really hope you all will purchase the book, and the cost will not be high as right now it is not planned to be a hardcover. I am still figuring out some extra goodies i will put in there to make it special, so stay tuned.

Conventions:

I will be attending only a handful of conventions this year:

Calgary Comic Expo  / Jun 17 ish
SDCC in San Diego / July 20's
Fan Expo in Toronto / August 20's

I will have the three prints and a bonus one as well If i can make one. I will be doing commissions as well and will post prices ahead of time.


Commissions:

A lot of people have been noting me for commissions, and I am not open to them at the moment . Right now I am grappling heavily with the idea I am becoming too cheesecakey in my art and am being very chosy as to what i work on. I might open for commissions next month, but exact pricing and timing will be announced nearer to that time.

Many times in the last two years I have wanted to stop doing commissions altogether, but financially I cannot afford to do so.


In closing:

To all of you I thank you for watching me and liking my art, it is inspiring and I have not forgotten you or am ignoring you. The need to put food on the table and get things completed is making it hard to have free time. Though you are free to watch me live and hear me chat on blogtv when I broadcast.
