How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

General Update

GENERALLY:

What's going on people. I hope all is well. I have been swamped with a lot of work in the last few months and am revamping my ciriculum for my digital classes as well. All in all things are moving along ok. I had to cancel Dubai because of an unexpected class I had to teach. Had I know I was to teach that class I would not have promised the Dubai show I would go.

It looks like I'll be only doing two conventions this year, one will be Calgary Expo, and maybe SDCC again. I think the era of con going has come to an end for me as I don't have the time and energy to invest in it. I have my family to look after and other considerations as well.

I will have two commission runs in the next 6 months. One will be for Calgary and the other for the SDCC, and I'll post details as well. Right now I don't have any time at all. I will be making a bunch of instantgratification commissions too. I will branch out side of Capcom characters to other stuff as well.

5C:

I now have 17 pages done on 5C which I am happy with and I read every bus ride home from school. Unfortunately I don't have the time or space to do it in properly and will have to wait for reading week to be able to really push ahead on it. Hopefully in the summer I will have more ability to work exclusively on it.

Wonder Momo:

This series seems to be lasting a lot longer than I thought it would, and it is actually becoming some of my nicest sequential stuff as of late. I am still drawing all the stuff on paper and pushing out 2 -3 pages every 2 days trying to keep it ahead. It has become a lot of fun to work on in a work sort of way.

I haven't had anything to post in a long while as I haven't had anytime to mess around. I know I mentioned a bit of Ibuki, but realistically I should put that time into 5C. I do miss my seclusion in the old Mississauga office, but I can't afford that option right now.

I actually find myself a lot more on facebook, so if you want you can search me up there and see the funny stuff I occassionaly post.

SO just friend me here so we all can stay in touch more, because i worry that I am becoming to distant.
