Snow Spring for us

Tue Mar 11, 2008, 8:46 AM
42o oo Hits!</U>

Thanks for visiting, and thanks for your support for over a year!

This is by far the most snowy winter I have ever seen in my life. We are close to breaking a record for the amount of snow we have had, and in the last week here we have had 3 snowstorms and it was 16°c on one day too! Crazy.

Snowtires are the shiz

I have pictures to prove it and show what the condition was and I will post them later if you want. Normally we are supposed to be  around 4 to 7°c in the day but it has been cold.

I actually dont mind snow at all, and it is technically still winter too. Mississauga has four distinct seasons and they are pretty faithful to the calender.

I have been slammed with work, common phrase from me, but I have managed to get some of the commissions done, and I will continue this weekend as well.

On the one really warm day last week, i unwrapped my Windmill plam, and he looks fine. I am pretty pleased with that, proof that you can overwinter a plamtree in the Toronto area even in a pot! ill post some pics of that too as per request of a few.

hope things are well with you guys, and thatnks for visiting, sorry for not posting stuff, everything I am working on right now cannot be shown!

Asalaamalaikum = Peace be upon you!

It's pretty bad in New England too. We had the same warm day too, but it only got up to about 7 C. Unfortunately, the snow banks are all over 2m high. It's really bad trying to drive with that, and the snowbanks probably won't fully melt until May.

Good job with the art. It still looks really good.

Impressive, the amount of snow that falls apart, it is proof that global warming is a reality today ... I remember made a similar case that happened in my hometown (Yumbel, Chile), where last year callus snow very rare phenomenon in this place.
I hope understand my english...
greeintings from Chile.

Yeah, IL been crazy too. Great to know you do's tight but one day :) (after the wedding mayhap). Just wondering. How long does each type of art take you?
Thanks for reading, and have a cup of Joe on me :coffeemachine:

Thanks for the java, never too much of that!

I depends on the arrangement we make as to how and where the art has to be delivered to for one thing, and then of course it is dependent on how much other work I have at the time. Usually to keep me safe and sane i say i will have it done in a month, but most people do not mind waiting provided the art looks good.

I would image the quality would be the overriding factor for anyone. Thanks for answering my questions, I appreciate it! I know some do the art full time, but many don't...are you able to follow your dream full time? Also, what conventions are you attending this year? Sorry to keep talking your ear off...I put another pot on. :coffeemachine:
