Well, looks like i am set to go to Turkey with my wife, kid, my mom and mom in law. I have never been though it's my father country. I am looking the most forward to visiting all the  religious sites obviously, but i am sure to have my fair share of good food too.

When i was in Egypt and i heard the call to prayer, I really for once felt like I was fully accepted where I was. I didn't have to hide the fact I'm muslim, or excuse myself to pray under some pretext. Everyone there  was going to pray too, at least in Egypt thats how it was. I am hoping for the same in Turkey and there are no shortages of mosques either.

Not sure how many of you live in Istanbul, but if i could i would love to meet some of my fans there since it is a very rare occassion for me to be going.

I often wonder how long it will be till i move away altogether to another country. I really liked Egypt a lot, so lets see what Turkey is like.

If one of you lives in Turkey or has been , please offer me some useful advice, i will be staying very very close to the blue mosque / Sultan Ahmet mosque in the old town. In Ankara, i will be staying downtown. We will be in Konya for one day and then back to Istanbul before we leave.

This is the first vacation for me in years, a little break before con season...

I really do thank you guys and I hope I have been of some use to you.

Asalaamu Alaikum = Peace be upon you!
