First off, happy new years! I wish you the best in 2013!

I can safely say that 2012 was a very important year in my career. My first book came out, I went to many a con, and i started working on what seems to be one of the largest projects in recent history for me.

However, all those things pale in comparison to one thing: I have started my story 5C after many years went by with distractions and other factors hindering me, both mentally and monetarily. The entire first part of December  worked extremely hard to get well ahead on my work for Namco to afford some time for myself.

Freeing up time and having enough money to coast a little is not always possible when you have a family to feed and other considerations, but this time it worked.

As a result, I now have 15 pages fully drawn, shaded, and lettered up. I have to start teaching tomorrow, and I am still working on Wonder Momo as well. I rearranged my scheduel so that I have sunday to work on 5C, and slowly but surely I am accumulating pages. Once this semester is complete, I will be able to move more swiftly. My goal is to have 100 pages by fall.

The other thing is that I have kept it as secret as possible and only 4 people have read the first 10 pages.

This is what I have been sinking all my heart into. This is why I haven't been opening for commissions or anything like that. I have given you years and years of everything from cheesy cheese cake to SF stuff and all points in between. I have spent over a decade drawing everything everyone else wants me to draw. Now is my chance to take all the things I have learned over the years and funnel them into my own project.

Nothing could  have got me to this point except being deprived of the inspiration and time to work on it, and now that I have those thing and more, I am truly appreciative and active in my pursuit of this dream.

So I implore you to be patient with me as I put this thing together. Oh and the other thing is that it will be free as well, I won't charge you one cent for it. It will be on my website and completely free with no ads or anything. If one day we want to print it, i will only charge for the cost of printing, i want no profit off of it. If its a big book, I might need a kickstart with some insane perks, but if I can, I will shoulder the entire expense myself as a gift to you guys out there.


I'm even cutting back conventions, and most of the ones I will go to are at the behest of Namco, and Calgary Comic Expo.

But I realize I haven't put up anything in a long long while. I will try to but again all my effort and processing power is going to my story and I have none for any SF stuff or anything else.


Don't misunderstand my absence, I just want this to be at a decent level before i let it drop.
